Special EventsLowbrow Antics x Femmes in Film: WELCOME TO THE DOLLHOUSE (1995)Friday, November 6, 2026 at 5:30 PM
Celebrate the painfully awkward world of adolescence, the weirdness of the ’90s, and the work of filmmaker Todd Solondz with a special screening of WELCOME TO THE DOLLHOUSE (1995), presented by Lowbrow Antics x Femmes in Film in conjunction with the release of a new zine honoring director Todd Solondz.
Come early and relive the glory and humiliation of your school-photo years with a Polaroid photo booth and decorating station, plus vintage and physical media vendors in the lobby showcasing a curated selection of ‘90s adolescence treasures. Dress like it’s the ’90s, take an awkward portrait, decorate your Polaroid with retro stickers, and browse before the film.
Following the screening, stick around for a post-film discussion featuring contributors to the zine, digging into WELCOME TO THE DOLLHOUSE, the uncomfortable comedy of growing up, and the singularly strange work of the one and only Todd Solondz.
A night to honor all freaks, geeks, outcasts, and anyone who survived adolescence.
