CHOPPING MALL 40th Anniversary with Kelli Maroney

Saturday, October 10th — QUEER SCREAMS presents… for one night only, star Kelli Maroney visits the Academy for a very special 40th Anniversary screening of the ’80s cult classic CHOPPING MALL (1986)!

Come early for a Meet & Greet at 5:30pm with Kelli, where she’ll be signing autographs, meeting fans, and celebrating four decades of killer robots, after-hours mayhem, and mall-bound carnage! 

A true ’80s cult-film favorite, Kelli also starred in NIGHT OF THE COMET and appeared in FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH.

Joining the festivities will be Gravy Tapes, bringing a horrible horde of horror VHS specially curated for the occasion by Academy programmer Door Man.

Then at 7pm, the mall closes… and the killing begins! CHOPPING MALL hits the big screen in a recent restoration, looking better—and deadlier—than ever.
