Lost Avenue Books Presents: THE TRIAL (1962)

Academy Theater and Lost Avenue Books are teaming up to present a special screening of Orson Welles' THE TRIAL (1962)! 

"The best film I have ever made" as self-proclaimed by Orson Welles; THE TRIAL (1962) stars Anthony Perkins in an astonishing adaptation of the Franz Kafka novel of the same name -- chock full of inventive and disorienting camera work, rapid fire dialogue and impressive depth of sound.

Lost Avenue will be here in our lobby at 6pm selling some beautiful books before the screening at 7pm, which will begin with a short introduction by owner Nate Wey. Then, look forward to an in-depth post-film discussion and Q&A from KBOO's Film at 11 host Doug Holm and co-host Jeff Godsil!
