Special EventsA Blood Market for Mario Bava's A BAY OF BLOODWednesday, August 26, 2026 at 5:30 PM

On Saturday, August 29 from 5:30–7:00pm, we’re hosting a gruesome BLOOD MARKET in our lobby to celebrate the Portland debut of Severin Films’ jaw-dropping restoration of Mario Bava’s proto-slasher giallo A BAY OF BLOOD (1971)!
The BLOOD MARKET will be dripping with vendors peddling a wide range of gore-drenched goods—from original artwork and apparel to Blu-ray and beyond. Whether you’re an art lover, collector, or die-hard cinephile, this blood-soaked bazaar is sure to leave your skull split wide open!
But that’s not all…
Before entering the theater, all ticket holders must pass through THE FINAL WARNING STATION.
To celebrate the film’s notorious original drive-in release—when it was retitled Twitch of the Death Nerve and audiences were required to pass through an official “Warning Station”—we’re resurrecting the gimmick for one night only. We MUST warn you face-to-face before you witness the carnage! Every attendee will receive an official CARNAGE vomit bag (another of the film’s original U.S. titles), courtesy of Severin Films, just in case Bava’s masterpiece proves too much to stomach…
