Cosmic Monkey Comics has partnered with Academy Theater for two great nights of fantasy fun in September – the 15th at 6:30PM and the 17th at 6PM – and you don’t want to miss it! 15 bucks gets you entrance to a Miyazaki masterpiece on the big screen and a FREE copy of the exclusive SUMMONER WARS #1 comic to boot!

It’s been a little more than 20 years since HOWL’S MOVING CASTLE was first released on the big screen, and it’s lost none of its magic. We dare anyone to explain its power or majesty in any language, but here’s IMDb’s take: “When an unconfident young woman is cursed with an old body by a spiteful witch, her only chance of breaking the spell lies with a self-indulgent yet insecure young wizard and his companions in his legged, walking castle.”

SUMMONER WARS - an incredible tabletop franchise by Plaid Hat leading to card, mobile and online games - is about to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Battle Quest Comics is launching the SUMMONER WARS series in September and Cosmic Monkey has an exclusive wraparound cover illustrated by interior artists Patrick Macchi and Mo Hollowell to celebrate. Limited to only 500 copies, writer Justin Zimmerman (The 27 Run, The Killing Jar) will also be on hand to sign every copy!
