Our yearly AniMay series is back yet again in 2026! This time around we are proud to showcase three incredible films perfect for creatures of the night...

We start with two gorgeously drawn features with designs courtesy of Yoshitaka Amano (Final Fantasy): first, we begin by transporting to a gothic, monster-ridden world with VAMPIRE HUNTER D: BLOODLUST (2000), then, we follow up with the surreal and heavily allegorical International Series pick of the month ANGEL’S EGG (1985)! Lastly, we finish things off with Satoshi Kon’s truly haunting psychological thriller PERFECT BLUE (1997).
