Our monthly Deep Cut Series begins the program with the Godfather of Italian Horror: Mario Bava & his underscreened debut: BLACK SUNDAY (1960), a witchy, gothic B&W chiller starring original scream queen Barbara Steele!

The series continues as we embrace the undisputed Master of Italian Horror: Dario Argento with his bonkers rollercoaster ride PHENOMENA (1985) [aka CREEPERS]. This movie is a trip & a half, and stars Jennifer Connelly, Donald Pleasance, a razor-wielding monkey & a whole mess of bugs!

Lastly...for the week of Halloween... we conclude the series with the ultimate masterpiece of the Italian Zombie tradition... from the warped mind of director Lucio Fulci comes the surreal abstract gore poetry of THE BEYOND (1981)! Featuring a haunting score from maestro Fabio Frizzi, & a graphic bloody feast of eyeball impalements, sulphuric acid meltdowns, flesh-eating tarantulas, throat shredding demon dogs & of course, ravenous bloodthirsty zombies!
