Static slides are non-digital, full-color advertisements shown on movie screens for approximately 20 seconds each. They are interspersed between movie trivia questions and movie facts that are part of an interactive pre-feature program (local advertising, movie trivia between films, public service announcements, sponsored question/answer slide pairs, etc). The consistent repetition of your ad ensures that movie audiences will have good next-day recall and top-of-mind awareness of your business. The average moviegoer arrives 15 minutes before a feature film. Your ad will be displayed before the start of every show on each screen - seven days a week.
Price
- $170/month for all three theaters
What We Need From You
We will need six to nine slides to cover all three theaters. We can also recommend a designer, if you need help finding one to create a slide for your cinematic ad. Email or call us at (503) 252-1705.
Design Considerations
- SIMPLICITY is the key to an effective ad
- Text should not exceed 15 words
- Do not place important design elements (copy or art) near the edge of the live area. Focus tends to be soft on the outside edge due to various presentation factors
- Text color should have extreme contrast with dark background (white, yellow or gold text color(s) is recommended)
- Dark text (red, green, blue, magenta, gray, purple, etc.) on a dark background is not advised as it will not be easily read when projected on-screen
- Upper and lower case fonts are easier to read than all caps
- Use bold fonts. Script and fine delicate fonts are hard to read
